Having been shaped in various parts of Europe, calisthenics has migrated rapidly to the Americas, and more recently to Australia and the Melbourne calisthenics and street workout communities. There is no place where calisthenics has taken over so rapidly as the beachside town of St Kilda in Melbourne, Australia. Melbourne calisthenics athletes flock to Melbourne’s most famous calisthenics park: Moran reserve.

Moran Reserve Calisthenics Park

Moran Reserve is a 10 minute walk from St Kilda beach and the iconic Luna Park. It has a ton of high bars of varying heights going up to about 2m high, parallel bars, monkey bars, a step ladder, sit up benches and a human flag pole.
